The Distillery Maintenance Planner will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the core maintenance program across multiple distillery sites. This position is essential for enhancing operational reliability and ensuring the availability of resources and spare parts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan.
  • Manage and optimize spare parts inventory.
  • Set up and maintain maintenance programs across multiple distilleries.
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Operate and manage maintenance systems including Megamation, SAP, and Sphera.
  • Analyze maintenance data and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Support strategic vision and planning for maintenance operations.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of at least 5 years in manufacturing factories with positions in Production and/or Plant Engineering and/or Maintenance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related technical area.
  • Preference for experience in the Food & Beverage industry or in industries with robust maintenance programs (e.g., bauxite, manufacturing).
  • Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Megamation, SAP, Sphera).
  • Knowledge of SAP PM would be beneficial.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and time management to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills to support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with adaptability to learn and operate maintenance systems effectively.

 

Location: the position requires the professional to be based mainly at the Distillery located in Clarendon but should also provide support and visit the Appleton Distillery in St. Elizabeth.
