Position context

 

  • The Channel and Customer Marketing Field Manager is responsible for the sell-out plan implementation, in order to achieve the Channel and Customer Marketing qualitative and quantitative objectives. He/she will report to the Channel and Customer Marketing Manager On trade Italian Market, who reports to the Senior Channel and Customer Marketing Director Italy.
  • He/she will be the contact person for Horeca activities in the area such as brand building development, in-store visibility.

 

 

Key Responsibilities & Activities

                                 

As a Channel and Customer Marketing Field Manager, he/she will:

  • Identify, select, activate and control strategic points of sale for brand development
  • Negotiate outlet agreements (activations in terms of visibility, drink list, engagement) with different customer types according to the company guidelines
  • Support the sales force for the implementation of trade marketing activities, focusing on the sell-out, brand building and consumer engagement
  • Present and share planning guidelines for sell out actions
  • Coordinate with sales team and area managers to allocate trade marketing investments
  • Implement actions and initiatives for brand building, brand visibility and POS engagement, according to the strategic guidelines and in collaboration with the CCM Team
  • Allocate budget to achieve the goals of vision, distribution and development of brand focus
  • Analyze any critical issues in the area concerning KPIs, in collaboration with the sale force
  • Monthly benchmark on competitors’ activities (products, prices, assortments, promotions, events, new product launch) and on the main weaknesses of the local market

 

Key Relationships

 

  • Internal: National Account Managers, Merchandisers, Sales Force, Brand Managers, CCM team, FP&A team.
  • External: buyers and customers.

 

Summary of Experience/other requirements

 

  • 3-5 year experience in a Commercial role in Italian multinational Food & Beverage companies
  • Knowledge of the Italian Traditional Channel (Horeca), preferably on field
  • 2-3 year experience in Trade Marketing Department within a Multinational and FMCG Environment

Education/Professional Qualifications

 

  • Degree in Economics
  • Languages: Italian mother tongue; Fluency in English (this role works within the Field together with sale force, that means daily exposure to only Italian speaker Sales Representatives).
