We are looking for: 

Senior Bartender with strong technical expertise in mixology, deep knowledge of the Argentine ontrade landscape, high credibility within the bartender community, strong communication and educational skills, and the ability to represent Campari in a professional and corporate environment. This hybrid role combines bartending excellence, brand advocacy, education, community building, content creation, and leadership of national bartender programs under Campari Academy. 

Role Purpose 

To build and strengthen Campari’s bartender advocacy ecosystem in Argentina, elevate cocktail culture through education and competitions, and drive brand love, engagement, and recommendation within the ontrade channel. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Bartending & Brand Representation 

Represent Campari behind the bar with excellence in cocktail execution, service, and brand storytelling. Act as a visible and credible brand ambassador during ontrade activations, guest shifts, events, brand programs, and premium consumer experiences, always promoting responsible drinking. 

Advocacy & Community Engagement 

Develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships with key bartenders, bar owners, and decisionmakers in the ontrade channel. Influence the bartender community by positioning Campari as an authentic and trusted brand. Identify emerging talents, trends, and opportunities within the industry. Transform relevant bartenders into brand allies and collaborators. Build strong social and professional connections while maintaining a corporate approach. 

Academy & Education 

Lead and execute Campari Academy initiatives, including trainings, workshops, internal and external masterclasses, and educational events. Translate brand strategy, product knowledge, and cocktail culture into engaging and inspiring educational content. Serve as a trusted local reference for knowledge, inspiration, and professional development within the bartender community. 

Competitions & Programs 

Design, plan, and execute bartender competitions, including concept development, mechanics, judging criteria, timelines, and onsite execution. Coordinate with venues, judges, partners, and internal teams to ensure highquality, impactful programs. Lead the national Campari Academy competition and support regional or global initiatives. 

 

Internal Collaboration & Insights 

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Advocacy teams to support brand building and commercial objectives. Provide insights and feedback on the ontrade channel to inform strategies, activations, content creation, and future programs. 

 

Required Profile 

Education 

No specific university degree required. Technical bartender education and professional formation are essential. 

Experience 

Proven experience as a professional bartender with advanced mixology skills. Strong understanding of the Argentine ontrade ecosystem, including key cities, bars, trends, and industry dynamics. Active and current network with bartenders, bar owners, influencers, and decisionmakers. Experience delivering trainings, educational content, workshops, or academystyle programs. Experience organizing bartender competitions, events, or industry initiatives, managing logistics and diverse stakeholders. Ability to operate confidently both in bars and in corporate environments. 

Technical Knowledge 

Advanced mixology techniques, deep understanding of spirits and cocktail culture, knowledge of brand positioning and portfolio usage in cocktails, strong presentation and storytelling skills, familiarity with Argentina’s nightlife and bartender landscape, and ability to create relevant educational content. 

Language 

Advanced English, required for interacting with international bartenders and participating in regional/global initiatives. 

Location & Availability 

Based in Argentina (preferably Buenos Aires). 

Hybrid work model with frequent field presence. Availability for evening events, national travel, brand activities, and programs outside regular business hours.
