General Description of the Role 

 

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for daily management and continuous improvement of logistics and customer service processes within the Benelux supply chain. The role combines operational activities (logistics and order management, inventory control, 3PL coordination) with data analysis, process and cost optimization. 

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities 

 

Operational Execution 

  • Manage and coordinate daily activities with 3PL providers, including inbound/outbound shipments 

  • Manage repacking activities, including creation and tracking of purchase orders, coordination with 3PL, and goods receipt in SAP. Ensure correct master data and BOM setup for repacked SKUs 

  • Manage the end-to-end order cycle: order entry, changes, invoicing, and follow-up in SAP 

  • Perform regular inventory checks and reconciliations between SAP and 3PL records 

  • Ensure compliance with green tax regulations and internal quality standards 

  • Support the resolution of operational issues with customers, 3PL, and internal teams 

 

Analysis & Process Improvement 

  • Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs (service level, costs, inventory accuracy) to identify trends and improvement opportunities 

  • Prepare regular reports for monthly closure management using Excel, PowerBI and SAP data 

  • Lead and participate in projects to optimize processes, implement new tools, or automate activities 

  • Drive the implementation of best practices and digitalization initiatives 

 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Work closely with local Supply Chain Team, Sales, Marketing, and EMEA Supply Planning to ensure smooth operations 

  • Act as a point of contact for 3PL providers and external partners 

  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and present findings or improvement proposals

Experience and Skills 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or customer service roles 

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred) 

  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP (SD & MM modules) is a plus 

  • Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills 

  • Proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn and grow 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

  • Fluent English (mandatory); French and/or Dutch preferred
