General Description of the Role

The position is accountable for overseeing all Finance and Accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations while collaborating with teams across different locations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Act as Business Partner to support the business and develop team for the future growth

• Accountable for Treasury, Accounts payable, Taxes, Accounting and local software requirements.
• Establish a clear communication with Region and Corporate 

Improve Compliance and Finance Information

• Elaborate and implement policies and procedures to maintain business health.
• Ensure internal control implementation for identified risks and opportunities areas.
• Ensure compliance with Campari Group policies, practices and audits.
• Responsible for ensuring accuracy in local, regional, and global reports and compliance in a timely manner.
• Oversee end-of-month close activities and ensure completion according to schedule.
• Review and update information in accordance with IFRS16 and local GAP.
• Review and analyze Financial Statements.

Support Global/Local Software Implementations to standardize Brazil at group level

• Coordinate set up of new projects in SAP, Coupa or other softwares to comply with corporate & local regulations

Responsible for Cash Flow & Purchase-to-Pay Process

• Monitor cash reserves, investments & liabilities.
• Collaborate with FP&A to develop a Cash Flow budget (Annual, Monthly, Biweekly) to ensure sufficient resources to support operations

Implement & Support Regulatory Activities 

• Implement an adequate Tax dashboard to ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Implement an Armored Tax Model to avoid or minimize any tax audit from the government.

Support business operation with Shared Service

• Main point of contact with Regional & Global Shared Service Team
• Responsible for evaluating activities to move to Shared Service
• Maintain KPIs/OLAs with SS to harmonize operation 
• Evaluate with Region/Global Business process Automation

Self and Team Development

• Attend different company trainings to improve business skills.
• Elaborate Development Plan for each member Controlling Team according to 70-20-10 methodology.

External: Distributors, Sales Representatives, Suppliers, Law firms and our Shared service center.

Skills

Functional
•    Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.

•    Experience with cash flow management, accounts payable, and direct taxes.
•    Proficiency in internal controls, risk management, and compliance.

Technical    
•    Strategic Planning

•    Budget administration
•    Experience in business controlling internal processes.
•    Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, taxes and tax structures.

Managerial 
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, ambiguous, and demanding environment.

•    Ability to effectively manage issues and resolution through others.

Education / Professional Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

•    Professional certification (CRC) is mandatory.
•    Master's degree in Corporate Finance is a plus

Experience Required

•    Minimum 10 years' experience in Finance.
•    5 years as Financial Manager, Business controller or similar position managing people.
