General Description of the Role

 

The role is responsible for the execution of below-the-line activations relating to the Off Premise channel

 

The focus is on optimal delivery of customer activations across all National Customers. In addition, the role will manage activation budget administration, agency interface, and POS procurement.

 

Mission/Objectives

 

Ensuring that commercial objectives for each Channel, Brand and Customer KPI's (including: Sales, Profitability, Market Share) are delivered.

 

To win at the point of sale by ensuring superior and unique shopper/consumer experience to boost brand building effectiveness. Ensuring Executional KPIs (including: Share of Shelf/Displays, Speed/Quality of execution, positive customer feedback) are delivered.

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Strategic planning

    • Craft and roll out trade activation strategies that resonate with our brand’s spirit and hit our business goals.

    • Dive into market trends and consumer insights to uncover new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

  • Campaign Management:

    • Lead the charge in planning, executing, and analyzing trade promotions and events.

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure every campaign is a hit.

  • Managing Stakeholders:

    • Build and nurture strong connections with key stakeholders like retailers, distributors, and other trade partners.

  • Delivering excellence

    • Keep an eye on campaign performance with regular analysis and reporting.

    • Share insights and recommendations to continuously elevate our trade activities.

  • Budget controller:

    • Oversee the trade marketing budget, ensuring smart spending and optimal resource allocation.

  • Team Collaborator:

    • Work closely with sales, marketing, and wider Thirsty Camel team to ensure all trade activities align with our broader strategies.

    • Support the creation of engaging sales tools and materials that make our trade initiatives stand out.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience:

    • You bring 2-5 years of experience in trade marketing or activation, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.

  • Education:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Skills:

    • Strong project management and organizational skills to keep everything running smoothly.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills that help you build relationships both internally and externally and get results.

    • An analytical mindset that loves diving into data and uncovering insights.

    • Experience working with external agencies and managing creative briefs

  • Personal Traits:

    • Creative and proactive, with a passion for turning ideas into action.

    • A team player who can also shine when working independently.

    • Adaptable and flexible, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
