The Assistant CCM Manager role supports the CCM Head nationally and is focused in contributing to the development of Campari Group’s portfolio in the on-trade channel across by driving activation and visibility initiatives on all key brands defined for different markets. Penetration in the target outlets and ensuring world-class execution of visibility / promotional activities / events in the distributed outlets. The incumbent has a passion for marketing and activations, demonstrated through experience in TTL activations.

 

Mission/Objectives

  • Drive national CCM Agenda on all brands, executing state of the art activations and visibility at on-trade touch points with regional specialists
  • Work in alignment with the Commercial Objectives for the on trade channel, brand and customer (including: Sales, Profitability, Market Share).
  • To win at the point of sale by ensuring superior and consumer experience to boost brand building effectiveness. Ensuring Executional KPIs (including: back bar displays , menu listing , speed/quality of execution, positive customer feedback) are delivered.

 

Activation Excellence:

  • Handle overall execution of brand activation calendar and support CCM project planning centrally
  • Customize & implement bespoke programs to help drive depletion across brands
  • Drive activations for specific channel segmentation for on-trade basis defined guidelines
  • Ensure that merchandise standards are adhered to for best in class execution of all BTL activations
  • Create an on-trade scorecard to build a strong M&E leg to all activations
  • Create a vendor pool to have efficient external working to support CCM Function Agenda nationally
  • Ensure POSM, compliant with the Brand Guidelines, is available in sufficient quantities to achieve visibility objectives in all relevant outlets, as per the annual aligned plan
  • Support in the development and execution of Consumer & Shopper activations, including point of sale, in-store displays, sales toolkits and sampling activations
  • Customize barware and visibility initiatives for outlets
  • Incentive planning & deployment to drive recommendation  

 

Key Relationships:

Internal: Region CCM Specialists, Marketing, Commercial team, Finance, Procurement, Legal

External : Key Customers within the Region, Agencies, POS Logistics , Design & gifting agencies , production partners (printers, pos material units etc ) , bartenders , training agencies.

 

Experience Required

  • Proven track record of working in trade/brand marketing (2-6 yrs).
  • Post Graduation Degree with marketing specialization
  • Demonstrated experience in managing expense budgets, procurement, and both Agency and Customer relationships
  • Experience in handling large scale national marketing programs
  • Demostated ability to work within cross functional teams
  • Experience managing large cross functional commercial projects desirable
  • Experience in liquor/beverage industry preferable, not critical
  • Ability to network and build strong relationships

Project Management - The ability to put together required resource, cost, and timelines to execute the proposed activation plan for the State.  Understanding how best to engage and influence key stakeholders to ensure that executional standards are met and delivered on time in full.

Presenting and Communicating - Able to present information, ideas and proposals and communicate in an influential, confident, clear and open way with both internal and external stakeholders. 

Agency/External Partner Handling - The ability to establish relationships in the larger vendor ecosystem to build a pool to drive strategic activations and interventions nationally.

 

Market Intelligence :

  • Monthly Trade Visits to maintain relevance, exposure to market, challenges & trends
  • Analyze market / competitor trends
