Purpose of Role:

  • Assume global responsibility for the oversight, development, and implementation of Campari’s Continuous Improvement (CI) program across all key manufacturing sites and network.
  • Aim to identify and eliminate losses and wastes in every area to improve efficiency and productivity for the manufacturing sites through the execution of Operational Excellence.


Main accountabilities /Deliverables:
Drive Performance Improvement across all sites:

  • Develop the capability in all site teams to build the foundation of continuous improvement principles in all operational teams.
    • Develop within the TPM Framework the execution of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) / Focused Improvement (FI) / Planned Maintenance (PM) / Early Management (EM)/ Kaizen Teams.
    • Develop Campari Group capability in TPM, Kaizen and Lean-Six Sigma capability tools.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, QFS, H&S teams to align critical priorities for each Region to:
    • Reduce the number of EHS incidents.
    • Improve RFT (Right first time) and reduce Consumer Complaints
    • Increase throughput OEE and delivery accuracy.
    • Reduce Cost
  • Harmonize performance tracking, data analysis and processes to improve results.
    • Benchmark across sites,
    • Share best practices.
    • Collaborate with the Engineering team to establish the CAPEX annual plans and roadmaps.
    • Give clear directions on KPI’s and standards.

 

Ensure the right Capacity in the right location to support the Company business needs:

    • Understand capacity utilization of all sites and identify opportunities to maintain a sustainable level.
    • Develop roadmaps for expansion, optimization, or simplification when needed, in collaboration with the Engineering Team
    • Identify opportunities for optimization of the capacity within the region, and globally in collaboration with the Global Team

 

Track Productivity projects (savings) across Globally:

    • Help identifying tactical and strategical projects.
    • Harmonize and consolidate reporting and tracking of execution of Productivity projects.

 

Experience and Education:

  • Engineering university degree
  • + 10 years in Manufacturing / Operations / Plant experience.
  • Industrial Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer experience is a plus.

Technical Skills/Competencies

  • Proven leadership experience of Operational Excellence implementation and oversight
  • Experience in structured Loss Analysis / implementation of AM & PM + FI standards and processes.
  • Excellent understanding of concepts like Lean Production, Agile Production, Value Stream Mapping, SMED etc
  • Proved competence in leading Kaizen events (e.g., Focused Improvement).

  • Ability to influence key stakeholders across geographies and functions through strong collaboration, influencing and communication skills.

Languages:

  • English: fluent
  • Italian / Spanish is a plus.
