General Description of the Role
The Price & Revenue Growth Analyst is responsible for analyzing market data, pricing trends, and competitive landscapes to help develop and implement effective pricing strategies and execute Revenue Management Initiatives using the four core Revenue Management Principles: Price-Pack Architecture, Promo Optimization, Mix Management, and Trade Terms.

 

This role involves utilizing both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to optimize pricing decisions and maximize profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities
• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors. And analyze market trends, demand patterns, and competitive pricing strategies.

• Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives.
• Price Optimization: Utilize pricing models, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques to identify pricing opportunities and optimize pricing decisions.
• Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market positioning. Conduct competitive benchmarking to assess pricing gaps and opportunities for differentiation.

• Price Modeling: Develop and maintain pricing models to simulate different pricing scenarios and evaluate their potential impact on revenue, margin, and market share.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze pricing performance metrics, such as price elasticity, price sensitivity, and sales volume. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
• Price Change Implementation: Coordinate with CFMs, sales teams, and other stakeholders to implement price changes effectively. Ensure proper communication and training to support the execution of new pricing strategies.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation of pricing policies, guidelines, and decisions. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to communicate pricing insights, performance metrics, and recommendations.

• Commercial FP&A, Brand FP&A, Sales, Marketing, Consumer and Customer marketing & Insights

External:
• Consultants

 

Education / Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.

• 2+ years’ experience in pricing analysis required; + Cat Dev and/or market research preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in creating models, working with large data sets, and showcasing strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical techniques, and data manipulation; Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), Power Query, and Power BI required + SQL, Python, & SAP preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in food & beverage or hospitality required, BevAlc & 3-Tier Distribution preferred.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with finance, marketing, sales, and CCM in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (cross-functionally).
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

• Gross Profit Mindset, Commercial P&L expertise, and Breakeven analysis experience required.
• Self-starter & curious mindset preferred.
• Stakeholders' management, to deal with different layers (Global & Regional) and seniority levels.

• Flexibility to work with different time zones globally.

 

Mobility
• Availability to travel within US and globally, if requested, for specific assignments

 

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $94,100 - $117,600. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
